What is self-hypnosis?

A: Self-hypnosis is a tool to access the sub-conscious which is where all our impressions and feelings are stored. Self-hypnosis can be used for all of life processes that you feel you should be in control of. Self-hypnosis can also be used to regulate the things your body does without conscious involvement such as breathing. (I personally have been cured of emphysema using hypnosis with the aid of a qualified clinical hypnotherapist) What pure intention and committed determination, anything can happen. In my practice, I have seen many, seemingly impossible things happen thru self-hypnosis.

What can self hypnosis used for?

Self hypnosis can be used for just about anything. It depends on you and your own efforts, which is a much broader category than most people think. For instance, it includes many of the autonomic functions – those things your body does without your conscious involvement. So your use of self hypnosis is not limited to just those things you consciously do and control.

Can I be hypnotized?

A: You can be hypnotized if you have a sincere desire to change and want help. Almost every one responds to hypnosis.

How safe is hypnosis?

A: Yes it is safe. If you use self-hypnosis you will not do anything differently that you would do out of hypnosis. You are always protected by your subconscious. The art of hypnosis has been used since ancient times starting with the Egyptians.

Will hypnosis hurt me?

A: You will not be hurt. You will feel relaxed and comfortable during your session. You will feel better after your session.

How will I know that I am hypnotized?

A: There are several non-invasive suggestion that your response to will let you know that you are hypnotized. You will be completely relaxed and fully aware. These suggestions are on my self-hypnosis CD.


Can I be controlled in hypnosis?

A: No, you can never do anything that is against your morals or beliefs. Your sub-conscious will always protect you from all unwanted requests.

Will I remember being hypnotized?

A: Your memory will be very clear and focused, yes, you will remember all your sessions and you will feel very relaxed.

How effective is self-hypnosis?

A: Self –hypnosis helps you to work on your problems that you choose at a particular time. Self-hypnosis is as effective as working with a hypnotist. It is always on your terms.

Do I loose consciousness using self-hypnosis?

No you do not loose consciousness. You might fall asleep and that is ok. You will be able to wake up without any trouble and you will feel fine. You might have a little memory lap since you fell asleep, but you are not unconscious.

How long does it take to learn self-hypnosis?

A: The time is different for different people. Your success depends entirely on your commitment. You must practice hypnosis every day without fail. The more often you use self-hypnosis the quicker you will succeed. You should see results within 20-30 days.

Can I loose weight using self-hypnosis?

A: Yes. People as overweight because they overreact and do not have any form of exercise. Both of these problems are under your control. Self-hypnosis will give you the incentive to get your eating under control and motivate you to get more exercise. Self-hypnosis will help you maintain you weigh loss.

Can I resolve issues with family members or friends?

A: Yes. You can resolve your issues with others. You will understand your relationship with others by understanding your reactions on the conscious and sub-conscious levels. That will help you control your own thinking and behavior. From this you will understand others behavior.

Can self-hypnosis help me stop smoking?

Yes, any person can stop smoking with the use of self-hypnosis. The problem of smoking lies in the subconscious. The motivation must be changed from smoking to nonsmoking. Self-hypnosis is an easy way to change the subconscious motivations. Quitting smoking is easy for some and difficult for others. There must be a true desire to stop smoking for self-hypnosis to work. Many people have previously tired to stop smoking and were unsuccessful until they used self-hypnosis.

Will self-hypnosis help me manage my pain?

A: Using certain procedures in hypnosis will help to control pain. It is important to believe that hypnosis will work. The use of hypnosis can also be used in dental procedures, childbirth, and surgical procedures. It can also be used in the recovery process.

Can self-hypnosis help me to get better grades in school?

A: Self-hypnosis can help improve memory and concentration. It will also help with hidden problems in learning and success. Self-hypnosis can be used in improving classroom participation and will help with willingness to study and learn.

Will self-hypnosis help me with insomnia?

A: Yes, many cases of insomnia respond very well to self-hypnosis. If there is a physical problem or abnormalities in the air passages, self-hypnosis may not respond well. Remember your commitment to eliminate any anxiety around sleeping will insure your success.

Can hypnosis help me overcome my fear of speaking in public?
